Buying a Home in Las Vegas or Henderson

Click here for the best, most up-to-date tips on buying a home in Las Vegas or Henderson, NV:

Over the past couple of years the Vegas Valley real estate market has re-emerged as one of the hottest local markets in the US. Housing prices have recovered from the depths of the recession and demand continues to increase as more and more people look to move to Southern Nevada.

Every week I get real estate-related questions from subscribers and viewers. Here are are few of the most common:

1. What’s the best place to live in Las Vegas?
2. What’s the most family-friendly neighborhood in the city?
3. What are the differences between living in North Las Vegas, Las Vegas, and Henderson? (Yes, the metro area is actually comprised of 3 separate cities!)
4. What do you think about the _________________ neighborhood?
5. Can you recommend a good real estate agent?
6. What’s a good strategy for getting the best price on a new home?
7. Should I buy or rent a house when I first move to Vegas?

Since I’m not a realtor I’m obviously not qualified to answer most of these questions. Which is why I’ve decided to create an “Expert Roundup” video series consisting of interviews with several of the TOP local real estate experts.

I’ll also be launching a brand new channel called “Vegas Valley Real Estate Show” where I’ll be posting most of the new RE vids. If you’re interested in buying (or selling) homes in Las Vegas or Henderson be sure to subscribe:

Just discovered your blog. Lots of really useful info here for sure. What can you tell me about the Providence area? I have a deposit down on a new construction in that area. Everything looks great to me so far but any insight you might have would be appreciated.
